Orion’s ‘Choco Pie’ ranked No. 1 in the ‘2019 Chinese Brand Power Index’ pie announced by Chnbrand, a leading Chinese brand research organization on April 16th.
The Chinese brand power index is an evaluation system that measures consumers’ loyalty, preference, and awareness of 176 items sold in China and 8,700 brands. The higher the rating index, the more likely it will be to buy and word-of-mouth.
Orion said, “‘Choco Pie’ is a ‘good friend’ brand in China. It has been established as ‘a confectionary that can be trusted and eaten’ by giving trust and affinity to local consumers for over 25 years. “He said.
Recently, ‘Choco Pie’ has been exhibiting various unique packaging and actively communicating with young people.
Also, Orion appeals the theme of “Choco pie is a Tinh(affection)” in Vietnam and they support marketing and collaborate with fashion companies to approach the younger generation. Last year, Orion’s “Choco Pie” posted more sales in Vietnam than in Korea.
Currently, Orion ‘Choco Pie’ is sold in more than 60 countries around the world and sold total 2.3bilion pies last year.
