Bong Joon-ho’s new film ‘Parasite’ will be screened at Festival de Cannes
Bong Joon-ho said, “Parasite is a movie that deals with polarization,” the director of Screen International said on May 17 (local time). “Even without bad guys, bad things can be happened. It’s an unpredictable tragic reason.”
Film ‘Parasite’ is drama about jobless Ki-taek’s family and rich CEO Mr. Park’s family. Ki-taek’s son Ki-woo is going to have expensive private lesson interview for Mr. Park’s daughter. Two families’ meeting that started by stepping on Mr. Park’s house is proceeding tragic incident.
Bong Joon-ho has succeeded in the movie ‘Memories of Murder’, ‘The Host’, ‘Mother’, ‘Snowpiercer’ and ‘Okja’. He came to the Festival de Cannes five times with his film. He said “The Festival de Cannes is always exciting, new and nervous, and I am delighted to be able to showcase the newest film, ‘Parasite’ in the hottest and most thrilling locations.”
In the movie ‘Parasite’, Song Kang-ho, Lee Sun-kyun, Cho yeo-jeong, Choi Woo-shik, Park So-dam and Jang Hye-jin appeared. The film will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21st.
